The Museum at FIT, NYC honored the lifetime work of the couturier in a multiple weeks long exhibition of some of his couture gowns.
He was a teacher, who taught his students magnificent knowledge, who everybody loved and admired but also a teacher who students were afraid of - at least to a degree - because of his strict rules and harsh criticism. I am convinced that all, who ever had a class with him, will agree that nobody else could have ever taught us more.
